How much do formals alterations cost?
We price by task and difficulty and how long it will take our seamstress to do the work. There's a wide range of averages for formals. Anywhere from $15 for strap adjustments to $350 for a full modesty build up. If you are budget conscious, please reach out to us for a virtual consultation and price estimate.

How long do formals alterations take?
We advise to contact us to start your alterations as soon as you have your gown. Some tasks are faster than others and we can assess your timeframe for you. We do consider rush jobs, and can accommodate based on our current work load. There is a $150 rush fee for all formals, we will let you know at booking if a rush fee is applicable.

Why won't you take some gowns from online?
Some gowns purchased from online (sites such as Wish, JJHouse, Shein, etc...) are not made to a standard that we accept for alterations work. They can use fabrics and methods that don't hold up well to seams being undone and adjusted. They often have fit issues beyond the normal alterations requirements.
